Reckless Kelly Celebrity Softball
January 28, 2010 0 CommentsFor the second year in a row, the Round Rock Express is teaming up with Reckless Kelly to present a Celebrity Softball Jam at Dell Diamond. The April 25 softball game will feature several performing artists, including Reckless Kelly, and stars from the sports world, including NASCAR’s Kyle Petty and former boxing champion Jesse James Leija. Following the softball game, the audience will take the field for a concert by Reckless Kelly and Cross Canadian Ragweed, and the day’s events will conclude with a fireworks display. Tickets are available through the Round Rock Express ticket office at 255-2255 or online at www.roundrockexpress.com, and are $12 in advance or $15 on the day of the event. Admission is free for children 12 and under with purchase of an adult ticket. The event will benefit the Miracle League at Town and Country, Little League of Austin and the Miracle League of San Antonio. Last year’s Celebrity Softball Jam attracted more than 6,000 fans and raised more than $35,000. Visit www.recklesskelly.com.
