CROSS
CANADIAN RAGWEED’S MISSION CALIFORNIA DEBUTS AT #6 ON BILLBOARD’S
TOP COUNTRY ALBUMS CHART
The 4th studio album titled MISSION
CALIFORNIA, from Universal Records South recording artist Cross Canadian
Ragweed, charted at #6 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums Chart
and #30 on the Billboard Top 100 Chart. MISSION CALIFORNIA came in just
behind superstars Rascal Flatts, Reba McEntire, Faith Hill, Brooks & Dunn
and Kenny Chesney with scans of 22,604 its first week.
For the past several weeks Cross Canadian Ragweed has played a string
of sold out shows drawing crowds of up to 10,000 and 15,000 people a
night. Clearly embraced by country music fans, the band and Mission California
are earning high praise from tough critics. USA Today claims the band “…is
one of the better-kept secrets around.”
With another Top 10 country album to their credit, a debut performance
on the Grand Ole’ Opry and upcoming features in Country Weekly
and on GAC, it seems the secret about Cross Canadian Ragweed is about
to get out.
